Prior to 2007, there had been dozens and dozens of technical conferences, but Indianapolis found itself skipped over by the many that paraded through the mid-west. In an attempt to provide the educational opportunity to the community in which we all live and work, Brad Jones, Dave Leininger, John Magnabosco, Mark McClellan and Bob Walker pulled their resources together. From this effort IndyTechFest was launched with rave reviews on October 14, 2007.
